Entries should demonstrate a project where the installation, refurbishment or maintenance of a property’s water systems and components was the primary objective.
Suitable projects could include:

Hot and cold-water systems
Whole-house domestic plumbing installations
Pipework design and installation
Water-efficiency improvements
Above-ground drainage, including specialised, ornate or recycling guttering
Apartments
Commercial washrooms
Light-commercial premises such as hair salons or public houses
Please tell us about a domestic project of which you are particularly proud. It could represent a personal challenge or be unique because of its overall purpose.
We have included questions to help you provide the information the judges are looking for. You do not have to complete every field, but the more detail you provide, the better the judges will be able to assess your entry.
The more descriptive detail and supporting images you provide, the better our judges can evaluate your application.
Guidance: Tell us about the type of property, its size and the areas involved. For example:
For a dwelling, how many bathrooms does it have?
For an office, what is the size and capacity of the washroom area?
For a public house, did the work cover toilets, the bar area or both?
Does an above-ground drainage system have heritage considerations?
How did water-efficiency work save water and comply with regulations?
Did the project involve planning, design or calculations?
Please provide information that will help the judges understand the property For example, the property type, size, age, location or any unusual features. A larger budget does not mean a greater chance of winning.
What were the main aims of the project?
Please describe any existing water system or pipework at the property For example, copper or lead piping, old sanitaryware or other existing installations.
What were the problems with the existing system? Explain the customer’s requirements or the problem they needed you to fix.
If there was no existing system, please provide an overview of the customer’s brief For example, describe what was required for a new build or renovation.
Were you given a budget for the project? If so, please provide details. This information will not be published.
Please provide any other information that will help the judges understand the brief
Were you employed or self-employed for this project? Please selectEmployedSelf-employed
